The Career Closet is a resource available for any student or alumnus of DU who is in need of professional attire, whether for a job interview, conference, dress requirement, or other professional development necessity. At the Career Closet, clients can browse, try on, and take up to four clothing items to keep for free. Beginning in fall 2020, the Career Closet will be housed in the Burwell Center for Career Achievement making it easily accessible to the campus community.
How to Secure Clothing
Beginning September 14th, students and alumni may visit the Career Closet during drop-in hours on Mondays from 2:30-4:30pm, Tuesdays from 12:00-4:30pm, or by setting up a private appointment for a time to browse and try on clothing. Due to social distancing guidelines, only one client may browse the Career Closet at a time.
We are currently accepting clothing donations! We are especially in need of men’s styles. There are two donation locations on campus – one in Driscoll South Suite 30 near the front desk, and donations can also be dropped off at the Burwell Center for Career Achievement. Stop by anytime during building hours or set up an appointment for a donation time.
