Essential Functions
- Aid in the development of a rural school psychology program
- Work as part of a research team while leading parts of data collection and analysis
- Facilitate data collection using survey, focus group, and interview methodology
- Analyze findings considering the conventions and knowledgebase of school psychology
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Knowledge of school based mental health
- Ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and observe ethical principles related to data collection, analysis and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- Be enrolled in the School Psychology Program at DU
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
- Takes initiative and shares their voice around the program
- Ability to meet deadlines and punctuality
- Cultural sensitivity, as many projects involve communicating with colleagues from diverse backgrounds.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous experience with survey methodology
- Knowledge of and skills using quan, qual, and mixed methods designs
Working Environment
- Remote

- Ability to work on a computer.
Work Schedule
- June 10, 2024 – June 10, 2025, with some flexibility for vacation schedules
- One 1-hour working meeting per week
- Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned weekly
- Between 10 – 20 hours per week
Compensation
Hourly pay for this position is $20/hour.
The University of Denver has provided a compensation range that represents its good faith estimate of what the University may pay for the position at the time of posting. The University may ultimately pay more or less than the posted compensation range. The salary offered to the selected candidate will be determined based on factors such as the qualifications of the selected candidate, departmental budget availability, internal salary equity considerations, and available market information, but not based on a candidates’ sex or any other protected status.
