Moderator: Anna Conrad is the CEO of Impact Leadership Solutions. Anna has helped thousands of people in over 200 countries through leadership programs and executive coaching, including Western Union, Crocs, CBRE, Cigna, Children’s Hospital, Arrow Electronics, State of Colorado, and dozens more. Anna has also been a featured expert on on leadership and communication skills on over 300 radio shows, Fast Company, Inc., Chicago Tribune, and the Denver Business Journal. The Denver Business Journal describes Anna as “an articulate expert who serves as a great resource for executive business-management topics.” Anna is the author of two books on executive coaching and an adjunct professor of graduate studies in Organizational Leadership and Strategic Human Resources  at the University of Denver.

Panelist: Jennifer Anderson is a seasoned Human Resource executive with 25+ years of experience working in numerous industries including financial services, customer interaction, and healthcare.  She joined Western Union as the SVP, Global Total Rewards in November 2023.  Prior to that, Jennifer held similar positions at Janus Henderson Investors, CSG International, and Centura Health.  Her specific areas of expertise include executive compensation, incentive compensation, benefit design, mergers and acquisitions, and disclosures for public and non-profit companies.  Jennifer is also a member of the Make-A-Wish Colorado Board of Directors. 

Panelist: Carey Hicks is a seasoned Human Resources executive and consultant. She is an expert in HR Leadership, Mergers & Acquisitions integrations, Change Management, Organizational Effectiveness, and Talent Management. She has spent her career partnering with top-level executives, providing insights on critical talent issues and guidance on inspiring engagement the drives performance in the most pressured environments. Carey holds a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) from Western Governor’s University, complemented by a certificate in Human Resources Analytics from Cornell University. She also holds the Senior Professional in Human Resources® (SPHR®) through the Human Resources Certification Institute (HRCI®) and certifications in Human Capital Management (MHCS), Project Management, (Project+), and Change Management (Prosci®). Carey is also Dare to Lead™ Trained through the Brené Brown Education and Research Group.

Panelist: Cara Johnson’s experience includes over 15 years serving as an HR leader and executive roles in a variety of industries, from tech,cyber security, education, environmental consulting, real estate, construction, and manufacturing.  Her strength is building cohesive teams and facilitating assimilation of cross functional teams, which help transform the culture, and develop individuals who drive performance. As an HR leader, she excels at building partnerships that develop new ideas that challenge the process, seeing those as opportunities to inspire and develop each other. Cara holds a Human Resources Management certification.
