**Get your Resume Ready—Schedule a review with a Career Advisor here (see Appointments) or call 303.871.2150.

 **Check-Out Employers –Prioritize the companies or organizations that you want to connect with and research their website as this makes talking to employers easier.

 **Prepare to Talk About Yourself—Employers expect you to provide a brief elevator pitch. This includes your name, degree, a couple of your strengths or skills as well as why you are interested in their company/position. Schedule a meeting with a career advisor here or by calling 303.871.2150 for more ideas on developing your elevator pitch.

**Dress—It is important to dress professionally even for virtual fairs as you will want to make a positive impression. For free professional and business casual clothes check out the Career Closet located at the Burwell Center for Career Achievement. Hours:  Monday-Friday 9am-4pm.

**Check your Tech—For a virtual fair, make sure that your camera and microphone are working.  Watch this short video for more tips on virtual career fairs.

**Follow-Up—To demonstrate your professionalism, follow-up within 24 hours by sending a brief thank you email to the employers you connected with at the fair.
