About the Role
We are seeking a motivated and technically strong AI/ML Engineer with advanced Python skills and knowledge of machine learning projects and AI-focused internships (preferred) completed during undergraduate or master’s studies. The ideal candidate should be passionate about applying machine learning and Agentic AI techniques to real-world problems, thrive in collaborative environments, and have the curiosity to explore emerging AI methods and tools.
Key Responsibilities
Contribute to the design, development, deployment, and optimization of AI, GenAI, and Agentic AI solutions for customers, as well as internal TCS AI and Data business platforms.
Design, train, and optimize machine learning models for classification, regression, natural language processing (NLP), and computer vision applications.
Write clean, efficient, and well-documented Python code for data preprocessing, model training, evaluation, and deployment.
Work with large datasets by cleaning, transforming, and analyzing both structured and unstructured data.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data engineers, researchers, and product managers, to integrate AI/ML solutions into applications and business workflows.
Conduct experiments, evaluate model performance, and present findings using clear metrics, visualizations, and insights.
Stay current with emerging AI/ML and Agentic AI research and contribute innovative ideas to enhance products, platforms, and processes.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.
Strong Python programming skills.
Academic experience in machine learning, artificial intelligence, or data-driven projects.
Understanding of algorithms, data structures, and machine learning concepts.
Familiarity with version control systems such as Git and development workflows using Jupyter Notebook and VS Code.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience with deep learning architectures, including CNNs, RNNs, Transformers, or natural language processing techniques.
Exposure to cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, and MLOps tools including Docker, MLflow, or Kubernetes.
Contributions to open-source projects or published research in AI/ML.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
