Accessing Online Career Resources for Alumni

As a DU alum, you have access to a variety of online resources to support your networking and professional growth. Below you will find information on how to access each of these resources.

  • PCO (formerly Pioneer Careers Online) – Find local and national jobs posted specifically for DU alumni and students.
  • CrimsonConstellation – DU’s networking and mentorship hub. Join to meet fellow alumni, help students explore career paths, and be a part of the DU constellation of mentors. CrimsonConstellation replaced the DU Career Network in early 2024.
  • BigInterview – Practice your interviewing skills on this interactive virtual mock interview platform. BigInterview also features a resume builder tool and job search advice in an easy-to-follow curriculum.
  • GoinGlobal – This database is focused on job searching abroad, with guidance and job boards tailored to several countries. International alumni can also find H1B visa resources for working in the US. Free alumni access to GoinGlobal is available by logging into PCO.

Using Single Sign-On (SSO) to Access PCO & CrimsonConstellation

Both PCO and CrimsonConstellation use DU’s single sign-on (SSO) system, which means you can use your active DU login to access these resources. SSO is required for accessing PCO, and available as an optional login method for CrimsonConstellation.

If you do not currently have a DU login using your ID number (87 number) or an active DU email, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact the IT Help Center at 303-871-4700 or support@du.edu to request your ID number and set your password.
  2. Complete your account setup by following the setup instructions on this page detailed in section 4, MyDU First-Time Setup.

Please note, alumni who graduated prior to 2002 will need to request a DU alumni email instead of using their DU ID number. Contact the IT Help Center at 303-871-4700 or support@du.edu for assistance, and please feel welcome to email us at alumnicareers@du.edu if you encounter any additional issues with getting your DU login established.

If you know your DU ID number, follow these instructions to reset your password online or contact the IT Help Center at 303-871-4700 or support@du.edu for assistance.

If your PCO account is not active, or if you have other issues logging in after resetting your DU password, please email alumnicareers@du.edu to request activation. Please include your DU ID and/or graduation year in your email.

If you have any issues activating your CrimsonConstellation account with SSO after resetting your DU password, please email alumnicareers@du.edu with a description of the issue you encountered and your DU ID.

Creating an Account on CrimsonConstellation

CrimsonConstellation accounts can be created with your email address or by using DU’s single sign-on (SSO) system. If you would prefer to create an account with your email, visit CrimsonConstellation, and choose the sign up with email option to create your account.

When you sign up for CrimsonConstellation using an email that is on record with DU, your account will automatically be approved.

If you sign up for an alumni account with an email that is not currently on file with DU, your account will be “pending.” We review pending accounts on a regular basis to confirm that new accounts are created by real members of the DU community, keeping CrimsonConstellation secure and authentic.

If your account has been pending for more than 3 business days, please email alumnicareers@du.edu and include 1) the email address you used to sign up and 2) your DU ID or graduation year.

Creating an Account to Access BigInterview

User accounts on BigInterview require a DU email address to verify university affiliation. If you have an active DU email (ending in @du.edu, @law.du.edu, or @alumni.du.edu), you can sign up for free a BigInterview account.

If you do not have an active DU email, contact the IT Help Center at 303-871-4700 or support@du.edu to request an @alumni.du.edu email.

Please note that if your DU email account is not used regularly, it will be closed after one year of inactivity.

IT@DU is in the process of ensuring a seamless login/authentication experience for all enterprise-wide software applications, which means that once the system is fully in place, you will use your DU credentials to access all of the enterprise applications with one login. Some of the online career resources are not enterprise applications and continue to use a separate login process.

To access DU platforms that only have SSO login, you will need to use SSO. This is why we recommend following the steps outlined above to set up your DU login.

Alumni are able to access CrimsonConstellation with SSO or with an email login. If you already activated your CrimsonConstellation account using SSO and no longer wish to sign in with SSO, you have the option to connect your profile to your LinkedIn account and/or to a Google account as additional login methods. If you would like to connect these accounts, log in to your CrimsonConstellation profile and then navigate to your account preferences.
