Lissa Myers | National Renewable Energy Laboratory | Sustainable Transportation and Climate Change Resilience Manager (MPP ’06)
Lissa Myers has 20 years of experience in urban planning and public policy in both the public and private sector. Her areas of expertise include planning, design and implementation of energy management, sustainable mobility and climate resilience solutions that improve the efficiency of and reduce impacts from business operations. For the last ten years Lissa has been managing the design and implementation of sustainability strategies for the National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL) that maximize the benefits of the research conducted at the lab and also optimize operational performance. Lissa holds a Bachelor of Environmental Design in Urban Planning from the University of Colorado at Boulder and a Master of Public Policy from the University of Denver.
Andy Reger | NewGen Strategies Consulting | Executive Consultant (MBA ’13)
Andy is an Executive Consultant with Newgen Strategies and Solutions with seven years experience in consulting, and ten years experience working in the energy/electric industry. He provides financial and strategic advisory of primarily electric utility clients that are grappling with an evolving market landscape largely driven by customer interest in and the increasing economic competitiveness of renewable energy and energy storage. He also focuses a substantial amount of his time in working with clients to manage impacts of transportation electrification to leverage opportunities presented to the electric utility through decarbonization efforts. Andy graduated from the Daniels full- time MBA program in 2013 with a concentration in Finance and Renewable Energy, where he was one of the leaders of the school’s Net Impact chapter.
John Jameson | ICF | Managing Consultant – Energy & Climate
John is a managing consultant with ICF, a leading energy and climate consulting firm providing advisory, analysis and program implementation services to utilities, governments and organizations of all sizes. His six years with ICF and nine years of professional experience has been focused on climate planning and clean energy deployment – primarily building efficiency and on-site renewables. The backbone of his work has been for U.S. Department of Energy, while also providing qualitative and quantitative analysis for numerous state and local governments energy and climate planning projects. Currently, he is working on Denver’s 100% Renewable Electricity Implementation Plan. He received his B.A. in Geography and Public Policy from Syracuse University and is completing his M.S. in Natural Resources & Energy Policy at Colorado School of Mines.
