Role Summary
The eCommerce Business Analyst is to be the champion of driving business growth with data and providing management with actionable insight to support sales growth, drive customer loyalty, and improve operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
- Collect, analyze, and interpret data from various sources to provide insights into customer behavior, sales trends, and market dynamics.
- Analyze business performance metrics, trends, and patterns to identify challenges and opportunities and optimizations of commercial activities.
- Design, develop, and maintain reports, dashboards, and visualizations that are tied to the company’s strategic business goals, present key insights and KPIs to stakeholders to influence business decisions.
- Work closely with demand planning unit to support ecommerce growth through meticulous inventory planning.
- Monitor site funnel metrics and lead CRO – to identify traffic trends, click-through patterns, customer engagement, product performance, and purchase patterns.
- Collaborate with performance marketing agency and develop digital marketing campaign performance reports to continuously improve campaigns and performance marketing.
- Market research: conduct market research to identify new opportunities, understand competitive dynamics, and stay informed about industry trends.
Qualifications
- Bachlor’s degree in Business Administration, Economics, Finance, Data Science, or a related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in a business analyst role, preferably in an e-commerce or consumer good industry.
- Proficiency in Excel, Power BI, GA4, preferably also SQL, Tableau and experience in ERP systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to translate complex data into actionable insights.
- A storyteller through data, eager to grow with the ever-developing ecommerce space.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present data and insights clearly to diverse audiences.
- High level of accuracy and attention to detail in all aspects of work.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
