Position Title: Undergraduate Research Assistant

Position Summary: The undergraduate research assistant will assist in ongoing research studies in the University of Denver Experimental Biomechanics Lab. Job responsibilities include assisting with experimental data collection, analysis of experimental data, and generation of research reports.
Eligibility: Must be a current student at DU. Must be currently in the department of Mechanical and Materials Engineering.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with engineering software, including Matlab, ScanIP, and Hypermesh are preferred.
Compensation and Benefits: This position does not require a work-study award. Students will be paid $16.00/hr with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance.
In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
Time Commitment: 10-15 hours per week
