Essential Functions:
- Use and maintenance of equipment
- Interact with customers who may be students, faculty, staff, community members or industry partners.
- Quote design and prototyping jobs in a timely manner
- Offer advising to customers for optimizing project deliverables
- Project management
- Documentation of projects (customer info, accounting, project management, etc.)
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Deliver high quality service to customers in a timely fashion
- Strong affinity for prototyping technologies
- Previous experience with prototyping equipment and software is preferred
- Excellent customer service skills and time management
Required Qualifications:
- Current DU undergraduate or graduate student enrolled for the 2024-2025 academic year.

- The physical abilities needed to work in the Innovation Labs are diverse and essential for a productive and safe environment.
- Manual dexterity is a fundamental skill for handling tools and materials
- Lifting and carrying capabilities are necessary for managing objects of varying weights.
- Tasks at varying heights might require your bending or kneeling abilities.
Compensation and Benefits:
- Students will be paid $18.81/hr.
- The position has flexible hours.
- Estimated 20 hours/week throughout summer
- In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
