Essential Functions
- Content Management: Oversee the creation, organization, and maintenance of digital educational materials, ensuring they are accessible, engaging, and aligned with the highest educational standards.
- Data Management: Organize, analyze, and maintain research data to support the organization’s mission. Implement efficient data logging and retrieval systems to enhance workflow and data accessibility for long-term economic sustainability.
- Sustainability Initiatives: Lead and assist projects aimed at improving the sustainability of our content and data operations. This includes automating processes such as PDF creation, data logging, and other routine tasks to reduce manual effort and increase efficiency. This also includes innovative projects with the goal of producing passive income and increasing awareness for the organization.
- Project Leadership: Coordinate with cross-functional teams to implement and manage sustainability projects. Monitor progress and resolve issues.
- Accessibility Compliance: Reformat documents and digital content to meet accessibility standards, ensuring all materials are user-friendly and inclusive for diverse audiences.
- Video Editing: Edit and enhance video content to protect privacy, add captions, and meet specific quality standards.
- Professional Development: Continue professional development and pursue opportunities to develop the appropriate skills to perform outlined tasks and improve value to the team. Continuous development is vital.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Required Qualifications
- Proficient in English reading, writing, and speaking
- Skilled in Microsoft Office, especially SharePoint, Outlook, Excel, and Word
Preferred Qualifications
- Prior experience in proofreading or editing
- Familiarity with project management
- Proficiency in reading, writing, and speaking in Spanish
Working Environment

- The role involves light physical activity including handling of lightweight objects and operating a computer.
Compensation & Benefits
- Compensation is based on the DU Student Employee Pay Rate Scale, ranging from $18.29-$25.50/hr. with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance.
- In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees will accrue one hour of paid sick leave for every 30 hours worked, capped at 48 hours per year.
