Essential Functions – The Administrative Assistant will provide support to the Global Health Affairs Program.
Serve as an program assistant for the Global Health Affairs Certificate Program. Duties include: greet visitors; provide customer service, via phone/internet in a professional and courteous manner; provide administrative support to the Director of Global Health Affairs; coordinate meetings and speakers; manage correspondence for internal and external contacts including social media; maintain databases; conduct institutional research; communicate and consistently enforce university, departmental and faculty policies and procedures with all users and co-workers. Perform related work as required

1. Must be a mature and independent worker.
2. Strong customer service skills.
3. Must be able to work both independently and as part of a team. Be resourceful and take initiative.
4. Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, consistency, organizational skills, and willingness to work with a high volume of details are essential.
5. Strong written and interpersonal communication skills.
Current Korbel undergraduate or graduate student enrolled for the 2021-202 academic year, located in the Denver area.
Compensation and Benefits – This position is funded by federal work-study, which requires eligibility through the Financial Aid Office. Students will be paid $14.77-18/hr with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance. In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
