Essential Functions – The Research Assistant will assist the faculty member in carrying out specific research agendas relating to urban development in the Denver metro area. The Research Assistant may be assigned to one or more research tasks. These tasks may be related to a faculty research project, grant application, outreach, or other activities that are associated with the acquisition, analysis, or dissemination of knowledge.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability –
Academic and/or work experience related to international development or urban development
Strong written communication skills
Initiative, follow-through and reliability
Preferred: Experience with R
Qualifications – Current Korbel graduate student enrolled for the 2021-2022 academic year, located in the Denver area.
Compensation and Benefits – Students will be paid $14.77 -15/hr with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance. In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
