Essential Functions –
The Human Trafficking Index Manager (HTI) is responsible for updating the HTI and supervising the HTI Coders and updating the HTI Codebook.
Need to have taken or be currently enrolled in INTS 4987 – “Forced Labor and Human Trafficking” (graduate) or INTS 3220 – “Trafficking in Persons/Smuggling of Migrants (TIP/SOM)” (undergraduate. Needs to have a minimum of one-year as a coder and be trained by the present HTI Manger. Needs to be very familiar with Excel and be able to train index coders.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability – Academic and/or work experience related to the field of research, preferrably human trafficking.
Strong analytic skills. Attention to detail is essential.
Initiative, follow-through and reliability.
Current Korbel graduate student enrolled for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Compensation and Benefits – Students will be paid $14.77-18/hr with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance. In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
