Essential Functions –
TThe GIS Manager for the HTI revises and updates the interactive HTI map and works closely with the HTI Manager. The GIS Manager reports to both the HTI Manager and Prof. Claude d’Estree.
ArcGIS (ESRI) software and other appropriate technical skills for GIS mapping.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability – Academic and/or work experience related to the field of research, preferrably human geography.
Undestand the requirements for interactive geo-spacial mapping.
Needs to be a current GIS (Geography) student or througougly familiar with ArcGIS software.
Strong analytic skills. Attention to detail is essential.
Initiative, follow-through and reliability.
Current Korbel graduate student enrolled for the 2021-2022 academic year.
Compensation and Benefits – Students will be paid $14.77-18/hr with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance. In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
