Department Summary – Since 1964, the Josef Korbel School has challenged students to think critically about current affairs and support the common good. Essential Functions – Assist with Conflict Engagement and Resolution Initiative project coordination and communication
Support development and implementation of conflict engagement and resolution initiatives on campus and in the Denver community, including logistics and organizing of trainings and other events, publicity, website management, and communications.
Skills, Knowledge and Ability – Strong written and email communication skills. Website skills. Initiative, follow-through and reliability. Work experience in event management and/or communications helpful.
Qualifications – Current Korbel graduate or advanced undergraduate student enrolled for the 2021-2022 academic year. Must have funds through Work Study or fellowship award.
Compensation and Benefits – Students will be paid $14.77 -17/hr with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance. In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
