Department Summary: The department of Electrical & Computer Engineering prepares students to be valued members of any professional team. Through opportunities for project-based learning, teamwork, research and partnering with industry, graduates will hit the ground running. We offer undergraduate degrees in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering and Electrical Engineering with a Concentration in Mechatronic Systems. Masters and PhD programs include Electrical Engineering, Engineering (with optional Management Concentration), Computer Engineering, Electrical and Computer Engineering and Mechatronic Systems Engineering.
Position Summary: The student hourly worker will assist in specified tasks from faculty and department administration in the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering. These tasks will include grading, copying, creating reports and other similar duties.
Eligibility: Must be a current student at DU.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Experience with Microsoft Suite line, ability to follow clear directions, ability to lift 25-40 pounds.
Compensation and Benefits: This position does not require a work-study award. Students will be paid $15.00 per hour.
In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
Time Commitment: 12-15 hours per week
