Essential Functions
The duties will include but not limited to:
- Monitoring student athlete’s who have been assigned study hall hours and ensuring that the study room is an environment that all can study.
- Study hall monitors will assist with check in and check out when a student’s hours are being monitored.
- They will assist with daily tasks as assigned by the Student Athlete Academic Services team, which could include deliveries on campus, or within the department.
- This position will also be asked to assist with creating a welcoming environment for all students who use the facility.

Required Qualifications
- Current DU undergraduate or graduate student enrolled for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Must be eligible for federal work study funds
Working Environment
- Standard office environment
- Stress level is low to moderate
- Noise level is quiet to moderate
- Expected interuptions from students who are checking to study hall.
Physical Activities
- Ability to sit for work shift between 1-3 hours
- Occasionally required to assist in moving furniture (desks and chairs).
Compensation and Benefits
- This position is eligible for a federal work-study, which requires eligibility through the Financial Aid Office.
- Students will be paid $18.81-23.00/hour based on experience with the opportunity for yearly increases, dependent on performance.
