Essential Functions:

Practice and Game Support:
- Assist in planning and running practices, including setting up drills and scrimmages.
- Assist the coaching staff during games & practices, including tracking statistics, managing the bench, and ensuring game-day readiness.

Video and Scouting:
- Record and break down practice and game footage using video analysis software.
- Manage and organize film libraries for review by coaches and players.

Administrative Duties:
- Assist in scheduling team activities such as practices, travel, and team meetings.
- Manage equipment and gear distribution, including uniforms, practice gear, and travel needs.
- Maintain compliance with NCAA and university regulations, including tracking player academic progress.

Other Duties as Assigned:

Participate in fundraising and community outreach activities with the program.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Strong knowledge and passion for basketball and player development.
Required Qualifications:
- Current DU graduate student enrolled for the 2024-2025 academic year.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends. The is flexibility here.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience playing or working in a basketball program.
- Familiarity with video editing software (e.g. Synergy).
- Understanding of NCAA Division I rules and regulations.
Working Environment:
- Working environment will occur primarily on a basketball court or in a gym environment. It is likely there will also be times where the work environment will transition to a traditional office setting.
- Unexpected interruptions occur often, and stress level is moderate to high.
- Noise level is moderate to loud.
Physical Activities:
- Ability to sit in front of a clock table for extended periods to time.
- Will occasionally be required to run or move at higher speeds.
- Occasionally required to move about the office/gym with the capability of transporting objects up to 20 lbs.
