Essential Functions:
- Contribute to marketing and gameday fan experience efforts for assigned sporting events.
- Work directly in-game shows for assigned sports.
- Assist with on-field/court/ice sponsorship activation and game production for assigned sporting events.
- Helps develop & coordinate marketing efforts for all DU sports including in-event and on-campus promotional efforts.
- Serve as gameday liaison for halftime groups and National Anthem singers used for DU sporting events.
- Perform other duties and responsibilities as required, assigned, or requested.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to providing a world-class fan experience for all fans in attendance
- Ability to work weekdays and weekends
- Ability to lift 25 pounds
Required Qualifications:
- Must be a currently enrolled student who is eligible for work-study.
Preferred Qualifications:
- An interest in sports is a plus.
Working Environment:
- Depending on the athletic event student employees will be expected to work both indoors and outdoors.
Physical Activities:
- Instances of light physical activity may arise.
Compensation and Benefits:
- $18.29
- In compliance with Colorado’s Healthy Families and Workplaces Act (HFWA), non-benefited employees accrue one hour of paid leave for every 30 hours worked up to a maximum of 48 hours per year.
