The Blue Bench is looking for passionate new voices to do outreach and education about the impact of sexual assault. Since 1983, our mission is to eliminate sexual assault and diminish the impact it has on individuals, their loved ones and our community through comprehensive issue advocacy, prevention and care. We are seeking driven activists to do outreach and engage support. This is an excellent opportunity to get paid to work on issues you believe in!
Our staff consists of committed, professional, and highly skilled activists. We provide all of the necessary training, and we are hiring applicants that have a passion for social change and a commitment to ending sexual violence in our communities.
This is a great opportunity for students to demonstrate effective communication skills to a diverse audience while gaining experience in educating the public on the issue of sexual violence and available survivor services. We engage support through recruiting volunteers and fundraising.
As part of our staff, you would organize neighborhoods and community members on the issue of sexual assault.
- Educate the public on the realities of sexual assault
- Pass out information about our crisis line and survivor programs
- Gain support through raising funds and recruiting volunteers
- Full-time pay is $450/wk + bonuses
- Part-time pay is $90/day + bonuses
- After two months full time staff accrue paid vacation and sick leave and we provide full health insurance
Applicant must be at least 18 and live in the Denver Metro area*
*Our work is carried out in our local communities. We can only hire people who live in Denver or who are able to commute at least three days a week.*

Hours are Monday through Friday 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM
Part-time positions available for students, you choose the days! (Minimum 3 days per week and must be able to work 2 PM-10 PM shift!)
