What this Department does:
We are committed to maintaining traceable, verifiable and complete records of our facilities and associated documentation. This includes GIS and CAD files, material certification records, pipeline locations and equipment, inspection and maintenance records, and other data and documentation critical to the safe operation and compliance of our facilities. The systems and data we maintain are a critical component in ensuring the safety and well-being of our employees, contractors and the people who live and work near our pipelines and facilities.
What you will do:
You can expect to:
- Coordinate updates to systems of record, general data entry, data cleanup and as-built pipeline data management
- Aid with mapping requests, processing and analysis using Esri’s ArcGIS software
- Complete structure updates in support of class and HCA determination
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams on GIS-related projects
- Develop and implement GIS-based solutions to address specific needs

- Practical application of GIS skills in map creation and pipeline GIS workflows
- Map creation in AGOL and Enterprise environments
What you will bring:
Education:
Student actively pursuing a degree in Geography, GIS, Computer Science or a related field with an expected graduation date of December 2025 through December 2026.
Experience/Specific Knowledge:
- Strong understanding of GIS concepts and principles
- Proficiency in Esri’s ArcGIS suite of software including ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Enterprise and ArcGIS Pro
- Attention to detail and ability to work independently
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
What else you need to know:
Our internships are temporary full-time positions, in-person/remote hybrid at our Lakewood, CO. office. We will host our Summer 2025 interns from May-August for 10 weeks.
Compensation And Other Benefits:
- Pay Range $24.61-$28.13 USD hourly.
- You may be eligible for a stipend to subsidize housing costs.
- The final pay for this role will depend on a variety of factors, including a specific candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and working location. The total compensation package for this role may also include overtime pay, paid time off, a housing stipend, and more.
