The Nonprofit Learning Lab is a national nonprofit that trains leaders in the nonprofit sector.  The Program Assistant Inter assists our staff with programmatic related tasks including: calendar logistics, data entry, assistance with coordinating virtual events and providing customer service to our members, volunteers and program partners. Many interns with our organization have secured full time positions with our organization after successful completion of the internship. The position reports to the Director of Operations. 

Areas of Responsibility: 

  • In collaboration with our staff, provide marketing, planning and logistical support for our programs with a focus on learning what is needed to develop, create and implement programs
  • Assist with data entry, community outreach, and marketing projects related to our programs with a focus on learning what is needed to do to support program collaborations
  • Special projects based on your areas of interest and approved by your supervisor
  • There is an opportunity for this position to be longer than a quarter or the summer. We are looking for someone to be in this role for at least 1 year. 

Requirements

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills

  • Strong organizational skills (ability to handle multiple priorities and deadlines) and attention to detail

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

  • Ability to function well in a fast-paced environment

  • Takes initiative and ownership 

  • Can work independently in a work from home environment

  • Ability to learn, utilize and become proficient in using new software programs including MembershipWorks, Wix, GotoWebinar, Google Analytics, Jotforms, & Mailchimp 

  • Candidates are expected to have a high proficiency using Google Suite, Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint & Excel) and Zoom

  • Working hours can only occur between Monday through Thursday. Working hours can only occur between 8am and 2pm MT when your direct supervisor is working. This is a collaborative organization and you can only work when your supervisor is working.

Benefits & Salary: 

This position is 10-15 hour a week

Prorated holidays 

No PTO provided

$18 per hour
