QA WiFi Technical Analyst

 

Professional Expertise:

  • Ability to work analytically in a problem-solving environment 
  • Ability to explain technical behaviors seen throughout the solution as related to defects to both technical and non-technical audience
  • Ability to absorb and learn both client business processes, technology systems, and all related documentation etc. including requirements analysis for delivery project
  • Apply functional and technical system design to test planning and test case writing
  • Has the ability to be the most knowledgeable person on a system and process, with the ability to apply servant leadership with that knowledge
  • Has exhibited eagerness to contribute in a team-oriented environment and being part of a great team

Basic qualifications for consideration:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Wireless Engineering / Engineering / Computer Science / Information Technology OR equivalent 1 to 2 years of relevant experience
  • Experience writing SQL queries
  • Experience or familiarity with service layer testing tools: SOAP UI, Swagger, Postman.
  • Understanding of data analysis basics
  • Basic understanding of Internet of Things (IoT), Smart Home concept and products
  • Understanding of Software Test Lifecycle

A Day in the life

·         The candidate will serve as part of a validation team that is responsible for installing routers and modems to initiate test execution focused on the customer end-to-end user experience approximately 2/3 of their day, under the direction of the client lead.  The candidate will spend approximately 1/3 of their day helping to troubleshoot and help drive root cause analysis providing a read out to both technical and business stakeholders for defects they have found and logged in the defect management system.  Further, the candidate will have a limited amount of time to be formally taught the product, business processes, and technology architecture, from the legacy Excelacom delivery team due to delivery activities. The candidate may also be asked to work with other Excelacom employees to productize this service and repackage the offering for other Excelacom clients
