“What could I do with this graduate degree?” If you’ve asked yourself this question, you’re not alone, and there are powerful tools that can help you find answers. In this workshop, graduate students will learn how to use career research platforms to explore options, analyze trends, and make informed decisions about their next steps.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

  • Use O*NET to explore roles, skills, and career pathways
  • Interpret BLS labor market data to understand job outlooks and salary ranges
  • Use DU First Destinations and LinkedIn data for career research and planning
  • Explore existing and emerging industries based on your interests and strengths
  • Build a research-informed strategy for career decision-making

Whether you’re clarifying your direction, preparing for a pivot, or just curious about what’s out there, this session will help you explore career options with confidence and clarity.

This is a monthly graduate career workshop hosted by the Graduate Career and Professional Development (CPD) team at the University of Denver.
