How do you turn your LinkedIn profile into a powerful tool for connection, visibility, and opportunity? In this workshop, graduate students and alumni will learn how to use LinkedIn strategically to showcase your strengths, expand your network, and support your career goals.
In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:
- Build a compelling profile that highlights your skills and experience
- Use keywords and Boolean search to improve search results
- Engage with content and connections to grow your professional presence
- Get started with posting and increasing your activity for visibility
- Tailor your outreach and messaging for informational interviews and networking
- Avoid common mistakes that limit your impact on the platform
Whether you’re just getting started or looking to refine your LinkedIn strategy, this session will help you use the platform with confidence and purpose.

This is a monthly graduate career workshop hosted by the Graduate Career and Professional Development (CPD) team at the University of Denver.
