Do you know what makes a recruiter stop and say, “We need to talk to this candidate”? In this workshop, graduate students will learn how to approach the job search from a recruiter’s point of view so you can tailor your application, highlight your strengths, and stand out in a competitive job and internship market.

In this workshop, you’ll learn how to:

  • Understand what recruiters look for in resumes, profiles, and interviews
  • Format and structure your materials for clarity and impact
  • Communicate your strengths in ways that resonate with hiring professionals
  • Use keywords and examples to boost visibility and relevance
  • Know when and how (or not) to reach out to recruiters via email or LinkedIn
  • Avoid common mistakes that can get your application overlooked

Whether you’re applying for internships, jobs, or fellowships, this workshop will help you think strategically, present yourself confidently, and increase your chances of landing an offer.
