Grief without Answers: Identifying Ambiguous Loss in Individuals and Communities
As health and human service professionals, we often face the challenging task of supporting individuals & communities through complex forms of grief that lack clear definitions or closure. Ambiguous loss, a unique type of grief, requires a deep understanding and specialized approach to effectively support those affected.
Join us for an enlightening interdisciplinary alumni panel where we will delve into the intricacies of ambiguous loss and its profound impact on mental health and be introduced to essential concepts for addressing ambiguous grief in our daily work.
This event is hosted by the Career Services & Alumni Engagement offices from DU Career & Professional Development, the College of Arts, Humanities & Social Sciences, Josef Korbel School of International Studies, Morgridge College of Education, the Graduate School of Professional Psychology, and the Graduate School of Social Work.
