This event is designed to connect employers with DU’s veteran student population, providing a unique opportunity to support and engage with veteran student leaders and members.
STUDENT REGISTRATION DETAILS:
This event is specifically for leaders and members of the Student Veteran Association. Registered students who attend the networking event and review preparation materials will receive the funds generated from the employer registration fees (deposited to the Student Veteran Association university-designated account).
At the Veteran Connections Networking event, you are given the opportunity to interact with employers with specific recruiting initiatives, employers who are interested in speaking to you specifically. Employers are reviewed by DU Career & Professional Development staff to ensure alignment.
This dedicated time and space allows you to:
- Explore internship or full-time opportunities for yourself.
- Communicate the needs of your student organization.
- Learn about employer recruiting initiatives and how these organizations support veteran employee populations.
Light snacks and one complimentary drink ticket will be provided (photo ID required).

- To attend, click ‘Register’ in the top right corner

- Click the ‘Employers’ tab above
- Click on the hyperlinked organization name to view majors they’re hiring, positions available and more!
- Note: This event is taking place immediately after the Winter 2025 Career & Internship Fair on Thursday, February 20th. We encourage you and your student organization members to attend.
Required – Review Prep Materials:Â
We will send prep materials a week prior to the event. Please review these materials, submit any requested information, and acknowledge receipt. Stay tuned more information.
EMPLOYER REGISTRATION DETAILS:
Join us for Veteran Connections: A Post-Fair Networking Event on Thursday, February 20th from 4:30 pm – 6:00 pm. This event aims to serve both your needs and the needs of DU’s veteran student population.
At the Veteran Connections event, employer representatives are given the opportunity to interact with veteran student organization leaders and members. This dedicated time and space will allow you to:
- Learn about DU’s Veterans organization, including how your company can further support them.
- Connect with potential candidates for internship or full-time opportunities.
- Advance your organization’s recruiting initiatives.
Light snacks and one complimentary drink ticket will be provided (photo ID required).
Please note:Â
- Employer registration is required to attend the Career Fair and Veteran Connections Networking Event.
- Space is limited, registration does not secure your attendance. Employers who are approved to attend are limited to two representatives.
- Submit your registration by Thursday, February 6th for best consideration.
- There is an additional registration fee of $125Â for business organizations or $75Â for nonprofit and government agencies. These registration fees go directly to the Student Veterans Association.
- Because registration fees are funding the Student Veterans Association  initiatives, we cannot waive the fee for this event.
- To ensure a variety of industry representation for our students & alumni, the Employer Connections team will review your registration details and be in touch with approval and next steps.
- Approved employers must review a short guide to prepare for the event and our students.
