GSSW Exploring Your Pathway: Disaster Relief Social Work
As natural disasters become increasingly frequent across the U.S., the role of social workers in disaster relief and emergency preparedness is more critical than ever. From hurricanes and wildfires to floods that have displaced thousands, social workers are essential in both immediate response efforts and long-term recovery. Join this Exploring Your Pathway session to hear from alumni working in this space, encompassing everything from providing mental health support to advocating for policy changes that ensure vulnerable populations are not overlooked.
