Disrupting Career (Weekly Drop-in Discussion Group)

Every Thursday Weeks 1-10 | 6:00 PM – 7:00 PM | Leo Block Alumni Center (LBAC) Conference Room

Is professionalism a normative construct? How do I deal with wage inequality? Why do I feel pressure to hide my marginalized identity at work? If you’ve asked these and similar questions, this group is for you. “Disrupting Career” is an informal discussion group open to the DU community focusing on topics relating to social justice, intersectional identities, economic uncertainty, and other “big issues” as they intersect with career development and life after graduation. Come chat with us, find solidarity, or just share what’s going on in your life as it relates to what comes next after DU. Open to students and DU community members from any major or field of study; you are welcome to join at any point during the quarter.
