State Department Internship Statement Writing Workshop

Applying for a Summer State Department Internship, come learn the strategies for writing a strong statement of interest.

We received word that the State Department summer 2019 internship application deadline is earlier this year — September 28th. This still leaves time to apply. But you need to get started.

Should you really consider a State Department Internship?YES (if you are a U.S. citizen)!!! If you are interested in just about any international relations issue from gender based violence to narcotics trafficking to international education to counter terrorism to intelligence to law enforcement, there is a place for you at State. The experience, networking, and security clearance can be invaluable even if you don’t have an interest in a post-graduate career with the U.S. State Department.
