A Standalone Project: Implement a Smart Parking System Using IoT Sensors to Monitor Public Parking Availability

Improving public transportation through real-time data helps enhance the commuter experience, optimize routes, and support better planning and resource allocation in urban mobility systems. In this project, you’ll design and implement an Internet of Things or IoT-enabled real-time transit information system to monitor ridership, track vehicle locations, and predict arrival times in public transportation. This project focuses on integrating IoT sensors with public transport vehicles and developing a public-facing platform to display transit information. You will design the sensor system, handle live data streams, and create a real-time dashboard using Python. The project is designed to be completed in approximately 10 hours.
