University College

As a University College student, you’re on the move. Maybe you want to advance in your current industry, change career paths, or simply to keep growing and learning. Wherever you’re at in your career, or wherever you’re located, our Career & Professional Development team is here to help you take the next step.

University College Career Advising
If you are completing a master’s degree or bachelor’s completion program, you can connect with your dedicated University College Career Advisor, Ashley Weibel, either over Zoom, phone call, or in person (campus and city regulations permitting). You can schedule an individual career advising appointment by calling 303.871.2150 or by logging into PCO, the career event, career appointment, and job/internship posting site for DU students. You can also email Ashley directly at ashley.weibel@du.edu.

Graduate students have access to individual career advising for 12 months post-graduation, after which you can work with the DU Alumni Career Professional & Development team. Please note that advising does not address academic advising or enrollment questions – for help in these areas, click HERE to contact your specific academic support team.

Pioneer Careers (PCO)
PCO  is your career portal while a graduate student at DU. On PCO, you can schedule appointments with your graduate career advisor, RSVP or explore upcoming career events, and look through our job and internship board.

Pre-Recorded Graduate Career Webinars and Events
Since graduate students have similar career needs as DU alumni, there is lots of collaboration between our graduate career development and alumni career development events and webinars. Check out our Video Library to view previously recorded career webinars on job search, career switching, resumes, networking, and more!

Regional Teams
Did you know that DU has full-time staff in 5 of our largest regions across the country to serve you outside the Denver area or if you’re relocating? They are located in the Pacific Northwest, Southwest, Midwest, Southeast, and Northeast. They provide opportunities for career connections, social networking and community service. To learn more and see the staff in your area visit the Regional Alumni Networks site.
