We work primarily with students and recent graduates applying for those awards that require university nomination or endorsement.
We are here to support students in pursuit of all kinds of external awards. However, our primary focus is on helping DU students who wish to pursue awards with a nomination component. This means competitions that require or encourage endorsement from the university, and that there will be a campus process to earn the university’s support. These competitions include: Fulbright, Marshall, Mitchell, Rhodes, Truman, Goldwater, Boren, Udall, and Gaither Junior Fellowships. If you are applying for an award not on this list that requires endorsement, please contact fellowships@du.edu.
There are many fantastic awards that do not require nomination! These awards do not involve a campus-level process and are often geared toward support for graduate study or experiences after completing your bachelor’s degree, but we can still support you in your application.
