Career Exploration

Did you know that over 60% of college students change their major at some point during college? Additionally, most students change their major 3 times in their college career! If you are undeclared or exploring options, you are not alone!

Within Career & Professional Development (CPD), our mission is to provide you a menu of services that facilitates your career and self-exploration to support you in making an academic decision that aligns with who you are and your goals. Students who participate in these self-discovery processes have an increased self-awareness around their interests, skills, and values, including their personality, and how to connect that information to choosing a major, or possible career paths. Participating in our CPD programs, workshops, and one-on-one career coaching will further support your major and career planning. Check out the resources and tools below to get started on learning more about yourself, DU’s programs of study, and how to connect with our office.
