National Student Employee Week is coming up in April! Celebrate your student employee or show your appreciation for your student employee supervisor by nominating them for a Student Employment Award!

By nominating your star student employee or supervisor, you will give them the chance to win:

• A $500 Prize
• Recognition throughout National Student Employee Week

In addition, student employees who win, one graduate and one undergraduate, could be recognized by the National Student Employment Association!

How to Nominate:

For Student Employees nominating their Supervisors:

• What: Tell us all about your supervisor’s accomplishments, contributions, and impact, as well as specific examples of how they have helped you build the NACE competencies associated with career readiness.
• When: Nominations are open until January 23, 2026.
• Selection: All nominees will receive a small gift recognizing their contributions. We will select one student employee supervisor to receive a prize and be honored during National Student Employment Week in April 2026.
• Requirements: Student Employees may only nominate their supervisors; other faculty or staff are not eligible.

For Supervisors nominating their Student Employees:

• What: Tell us all about your student employee’s accomplishments, contributions, and impact, as well as specific examples of how they have demonstrated the NACE competencies associated with career readiness. All nominations will be evaluated based on the Overall Student Employee of the Year criteria.
• When: Nominations are open until January 23, 2026.
• Selection: All nominees will receive a small gift recognizing their contributions. We will select one undergraduate and one graduate student employee to receive a prize and be honored during National Student Employment Week in April 2026.
• Requirements: Supervisors may nominate any of their student employees, including those with work-study, those without work-study, international students, etc.
