NORAD & NORTHCOMM Internships (Korbel MA Students)

On Wednesday May 3rd, the Office of Career and Professional Development, in tandem with Dr. Ben Gochman, hosted speakers from U.S. NORAD & Northcomm to discuss their VSIP Internship program. The internship is available during the Summer or Spring terms with applications for this upcoming Spring cohort closing in July.

The internship is unpaid but offers students the chance to obtain a security clearance, a valuable asset for anyone looking for a federal career after graduation. Interns will be able to work in a variety of directorates including operations, planning, and policy. Interns do meaningful work for the strategic command.

The internships are part time and in person, allowing students the opportunity to work on a U.S. military base while still attending classes. Working with NORAD/Northcomm will be an amazing opportunity for Korbel students to gain incredible experience working on classified projects with important implications for the protection of the American (and Canadian) homeland.
