Applications Open! – Career Peer Advisor Position

WE’RE HIRING NEW CAREER PEER ADVISORS FOR THE 2023-2024 Academic Year!

Career Peer Advisors are an essential part of Career & Professional Developmentand serve as a key link in supporting DU students to achieve their career goals. Additionally, Career Peer Advisors help educate the campus about the necessary skills and resources to engage in self-exploration, career planning and the job and internship search process.

Career & Professional Development is ramping up its Peer Advisor Program to hire both undergraduate and graduate students to support our diverse campus population. Beginning in the fall quarter of the 2023-24 academic year, we are implementing a drop-in advising model, where advising is provided all day, every day in the open, common area of our new Burwell Center for Career Achievement. All day, every day is defined as normal business hours (Monday- Friday, 8:00 am- 4:30 pm). It is run by students, for students and we want you to be a part of this exciting initiative.

If you are interested in applying, please apply here by Monday, May 8th. Please note applicants must be in the Denver area when this student employment opportunity begins in the academic year 2023-2024. This position is an on-campus position.

Also, check out our Career Peer Advisor Information Session on April 27th at 12 pm. We’ll answer your questions and you’ll learn more about the position and what makes a competitive applicant.
