To maximize your searches on PCO, make sure to set up saved searches and alerts to help ensure you are the first to know about that perfect internship or job opportunity!
- Log on to PCO, select OCI and Job Listings from the left-hand menu.
- Set up the filters based on the type of internship or job you are searching for. For example, perhaps you are interested in internships only in Washington DC. Select the arrow next to City, add Washington DC; for Type of Job, select Internship. You can also select positions that are specifically targeted to Korbel Students by Adding a Filter, selecting Student groups, then checking Korbel Grad Students: Current & 1st Year Alumni. The Add Filters function allows you to get as specific as you would like, adding filters for industry, position title, paid or unpaid, and more.
- Once you have filters set based on your criteria, on the bottom right corner, select “My Saved Searches & Alerts.” Look for the Saved Search you just created, select the pencil (update) button next to that search. A box will pop open where you can edit the name of the search and set up email alerts (Weekly or Daily) when new opportunities are posted that fit that criteria.
