Credited Job/Internship Search Class – Online this Summer!

We’re again offering our popular job & internship search two-credit course online for Summer 2022. Designed from the ground up as an asynchronous (no required meeting times) online class for summer quarters, “The Job & Internship Search” (LDRS 2911) will guide you through the foundational skills that you need for a successful job or internship search, no matter your major or career goals!

As a summer quarter course, “The Job & Internship Search” takes place in a condensed format over the course of four weeks, by the end of which you’ll feel more confident in your resume writing, networking, and interviewing skills. This is an excellent opportunity to gain these skills before the school year starts, especially for graduating seniors who want to hit the ground running as they begin their job search in the fall.

The course content is divided up into eight modules (two per week) that build on each other step-by-step as you progress toward a completed resume and cover letter, a mock interview, and meeting with a professional in a career field that interests you. You’re guided along each step to success, and past summer quarter students have shared that the course was valuable, helpful, and useful for gaining new skills and techniques to use in their job and internship searches.
