There are so many options and directions you can take with a career in International Affairs! We wanted to share this career guide compiled by the Association of Professional Schools of International Affairs (APSIA), a non-profit educational organization of graduate schools of international affairs with 38 members (including the University of Denver) from around the world, as a suggested resource.
The Career Guide provides insight, suggestions, and routes to a variety of career options within the field of International Affairs. You can search on subject areas you’re interested in to learn about in career fields across sectors.
Additionally, on the APSIA YouTube channel, you’ll find dozens of employer information session recordings and fellowship program opportunities. The recordings highlight opportunities in security, development, human rights, economics and trade, policy, and sustainability across all sectors including multilaterals.
We encourage you to use the APSIA website as a resource not only as you are evaluating graduate programs but beyond. The website contains information about fellowships, internships, scholarships, job postings, and events to help you grow and develop a career in International Affairs.
