This course is designed to give students the unique resources, skills, confidence and tools necessary to be successful in the job and internship search and develop a mindset for strong workplace excellence and leadership. The search process involves much more than simply submitting a resume in the current economy. Through in-class activities and assignments, students will understand workplace complexities and learn how to create a strong career action plan to address these complexities. The course will include content delivered by Career & Professional Development professionals, employers, and alumni. Open to ALL students.

This course is designed to give students the unique resources, skills, confidence and tools necessary to be successful in the job and internship search and develop a mindset for strong workplace excellence and leadership. Taught through the lens of gender. While women are entering the workforce in numbers that equal men, their earnings equity and ascent to leadership is slow. This course will explore the gender challenges and opportunities that exist for women in the complex workforce. This course is designed to give students the unique resources, skills, confidence and tools necessary to be successful in the job and internship search and develop a mindset for strong workplace excellence and leadership.
