Community Job Postings

As of September 20, 2023, the posting guidelines for community jobs are as follows. DU does not allow community job postings, such as those involving childcare, homecare, personal care, assistance, private tutoring, etc. that are not connected to a company or agency to be posted to PCO, DU’s job and internship database.

We suggest you utilize services such as placement agencies or public posting platforms such as www.quadjobs.com. Quad Jobs is a platform designed to connect students to these types of opportunities. DU students who are interested in these types of job opportunities will be referred to Quad Jobs.

Micro-Internships

Micro-Internships are short-term, paid, professional assignments that are similar to those given to new hires or interns. These projects enable Career Launchers to demonstrate skills, explore career paths, and build their networks as they seek the right full-time role. Unlike traditional internships, Micro-Internships can take place year-round, typically range from 5 to 40 hours of work, and are due between one week and one month after kick-off.

Micro-Internships are facilitated via the Parker Dewey platform, which connects Career Launchers with Companies in need of support.

Tabling

Schedule a day to come to campus for a few hours to advertise your organization and available opportunities. We set you up with a table on campus in a high traffic area where you can interact with students from all majors and backgrounds

Specialized Events

From case-interview training events to hack-a-thons and taco-truck meet & greets, our special events are a fun and interactive way to assess a larger number of students while highlighting your company, culture and work. Our team can help you brainstorm the best type of event for accessing the talent you are seeking while emphasizing what is great about your organization.
